Kinkajous A/V Live
︎ Nov, 2025
I collaborated with the London-based Jazz/Electronic band Kinkajous as the Audiovisual & Scenography Artist for their new A/V live show, which premiered at Southbank Centre as part of the EFG London jazz festival on November 14, 2025. For this debut, I created an immersive stage environment that blends installation art, light, and dynamic spatial design.
The setup features six semi-transparent scrims arranged around the stage, forming layers for projection mapping that wrap the space in shifting imagery and light. To introduce a subtle sense of movement, I incorporated strategically placed fans that generate gentle air currents. These invisible flows interact with the projected visuals and light, creating a fluid, breathing atmosphere where motion arises not only from the images but from the space itself.
Kinkajous’ sound is cinematic, textural, and continuously flowing, intertwining with the visuals to form a unified sensory experience. Together, we crafted a performance in which the audience becomes immersed in a world shaped by sound, light, and the unseen movement of air, experiencing music and space as one evolving environment.
